10. Wave!!: Surfing yapee!!
When it comes to sports anime, all we think is football, volleyball, or baseball, but we forget about one of the extreme sport, surfing. This anime is about surfing and diving. Haikyuu would never be a great anime if it weren’t for the character relationships. In that regard, this anime excels. So make sure to check it out.
Plot: Before the summer vacation, Masaki Hinaoka, who grew up along the coast of Ooarai in Ibaraki Prefecture, meets Shou Akitsuki, a prince-like transfer student who exposes him to the world of surfing. 9. Sayonara Watashi no Cramer
On the number 9, I have an anime for our soccer fans. But this time, there aren’t any big muscular guys trying to kill each other, but we have got cute girls playing soccer.
Maybe in terms of hype and action, it is not that good, but the important thing is the emotional story and the goals of every character, which come to light as we move forward in anime.
Plot: Midori Soshizaki and Sumire Su are the stars of their respective middle school girls’ soccer teams. As they enter high school, they join an eclectic cast of other new ladies at Warabi Seinan High School, where they aspire to improve the school’s traditionally low-performing squad.
They must defeat powerful new foes ranging from other nationally rated school soccer teams to their own school’s administration with the assistance of former Nadeshiko Japan player Naoko Nmi as their new coach.

6.2/10
To match the hype of your expectation, we have one volleyball anime. Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu is the story of three friends who enroll themselves in a school volleyball club, but after a while, they realized that things are tougher than it looks. 7. Shakunetsu Kabaddi
7.2/10
This anime is about Kabaddi, a popular game in the Indian subcontinent and other Asian countries. Shakunetsu Kabaddi is one of the anime I think will raise on charts pretty fast as it includes the martial arts mixed with sports, and action scenes are amazing.
Plot: Tatsuya Yoigoshi, a first-year high school student and former elite soccer player who despises athletics, is the protagonist of the novel. He is invited to join a Kabaddi squad, a contact sport. He initially dismisses the concept, but after witnessing a Kabaddi training, he becomes fascinated.

5. Skate-Leading stars
6.4/10
The show will follow a group of high school lads who compete in “skate-leading,” a sort of competitive figure skating. Maeshima Kensei, at the age of 11, gives up figure skating after a devastating defeat to an opponent.
Fast forward five years, and he’s stuck in a rut in school and in life, being recruited by a variety of sports teams but unable to commit to just about any. Until he learns that his former not-rival and now-legendary skater Shinozaki Reo has switched from singles skating to the new team-oriented skating style of ‘Skate Leading.’
He subsequently enters the tournament against Shinozaki with the support of Shinozaki’s half-brother Hayato Sasugai, who has a grudge towards Shinozaki, and members of Ionodai High School’s skate leading club.

4. Bakuten!!
7.5/10
This season we have a unique anime in the sports genre. Bakuten is an anime that is about gymnastics. This anime seems to have a promising start. From the trailer itself, I can tell you this anime will be fun. With good animation and fascinating MC(Main character), It looks like a good package.

The storyline follows a group of unusual seniors and Ryoya Misato, a student who is well-known in high school rhythmic gymnastics competitions, as they work together to achieve a common objective.

3. Free!
7.4/10
In the beginning, it may look like a normal sports anime but as the story moves forward you can really see the character development of each character and how they work hard to achieve their goals and ambition. Which motivates us. This movie was supposed to come in 2020 but due to pandemic and all it got delayed but now it is releasing.

2. SK8 the infinity
8.2/10
This anime has to be on 2nd rank of Best sports anime of 2021. It has a unique concept of skateboarding battle which happens underground. It gives you a good amount of hype and adrenaline while watching it. I highly recommend it.
Plot: Reki, a skater in high school, is addicted to “S,” a top-secret and risky downhill skateboarding competition held in an abandoned mine. The “beef,” or furious clashes that erupt during the races, are highly popular among the skaters.
Langa, a transfer student who has returned to Japan after studying overseas, is taken to the mine where the races are held by Reki. Langa, who has no previous skating expertise, is drawn into the world of “S.”

1. Nomad Megalo Box
8.3/10
Megalobox S1 was a classic Shonen anime in which the underdog battles for power. Nomad is similar to One Punch Man in that it shows what occurs after the protagonist achieves his aim. The plot is incredibly realistic, and the characters grow and change throughout the novel. Without a doubt, one of the most underappreciated anime.
Plot: Megalo Boxing is a type of advanced boxing in which athletes compete in metal frames known as Gear. When the first Megalonia tournament was held, “Gearless” Joe was crowned champion and became a renowned fighter. However, he quickly lost an exhibition match to the second champion and disappeared from the public spotlight.
Joe now goes by the moniker “Nomad” and keeps a low profile, fighting in a few underground battles to make ends meet. He suffers from hallucinations and relies on a cocktail of medicines to keep his thoughts at bay.
